Figures as For Motion states them; range depends on the battery pack, the weight carried and how you ride. UK road eligibility depends on the model and its approved configuration. A speed limit of 8 mph alone does not make a vehicle eligible. Confirm the intended use in your quote and see the rules page.
Compare the Quadros with the two closest models
From each model's own specifications and configurator: colours, battery choices, dimensions, equipment and which options cost extra. Prices are stated in your written quote. Only what differs is in the table; what is the same on every model sits underneath. Where another model wins a row, that is shown too.

Quadros
Quadros GreySpecifications
Product description
The Quadros is for people who would rather not look as though they are on a mobility scooter: a sporty twin saddle, alloy rims, two motors in the rear wheels and the steady footing of four wheels. In Britain it is a private-land machine — the section below explains why.

Range on one charge
For Motion's own figures in normal use; about 5 hours to charge. Packs up to 60 Ah are removable cassettes you charge indoors; the 80 and 120 Ah packs are built in and charge through the socket on the scooter.
| Battery pack (60 V lithium) | Range |
|---|---|
| 20 Ah (standard) | about 31 miles (50 km) |
| 40 Ah | about 62 miles (100 km) |
| 60 Ah | about 93 miles (150 km) |
| 80 Ah | about 124 miles (200 km) |
| 120 Ah | up to 186 miles (300 km) |
Who it suits (and who it doesn't)
A good fit if you have private ground to ride on, want scooter looks with four wheels underneath, and take someone with you now and then. At 70 cm it still goes through most doorways.
Look at another model if you need a swivel seat with armrests to get on — you step over this saddle. And if you need the public road or the pavement, choose a single-seat machine supplied at 8 mph: the On Four or the Forto. Our comparison tool puts them side by side.
Riding this in the UK
UK law defines a mobility scooter — an invalid carriage — as a vehicle constructed or adapted to carry one person. The Quadros has a twin saddle and passenger foot pegs, so it can never be a Class 2 or Class 3 machine here, however slowly it is set. In Britain it is for private land only: a golf course, a caravan site, a farm or a private estate, with the owner's permission, and never the public highway or the footway. Note that a supermarket or retail-park car park counts as a public place. Our rules page sets out the classes.
Options
The configurator above lists every option for the Quadros and what each one adds. Speed: the 15.5 or 28 mph build, both for private land only in Britain, as explained above. Battery and charging: the standard lithium pack or two larger packs, one or two of them removable, and an 8–10 A fast charger for more than one battery. Seating and controls for a disability: a comfort seat, plain or swivelling for easier entry; seat heating; a thumb throttle left, right or both; an accelerator pedal left or right; the throttle moved to the other side; all handlebar switches on one side; the brake levers swapped, both brakes on one side, or a foot brake right or left. Practical: a tall clear windscreen, the luxury 38-litre top box, a front basket, a stick holder left, right or both sides, winter tyres, a bicycle-trailer coupling, a tow bar, a leg cover, a handlebar muff set, heated gloves in sizes XS to XXL, a cover in medium or large, a USB connection and a universal phone holder. Security: an alarm with remote control, a GPS tracker or a beacon transmitter (the tracking subscription is quoted separately). If you need an adaptation for a disability that is not listed, describe it when you request the quote and we will tell you in writing what we can build. Maintenance packages and multi-year service contracts are listed too; for a United Kingdom address, ask us in the quote what servicing we can offer before you choose one.
