Figures as For Motion states them; range depends on the battery pack, the weight carried and how you ride. UK road eligibility depends on the model and its approved configuration. A speed limit of 8 mph alone does not make a vehicle eligible. Confirm the intended use in your quote and see the rules page.

Compa redSpecifications

Who it suits (and who it doesn't)
A good fit if you have private ground and do not want to travel alone: to the market with your partner, or with a grandchild in the front seat. At 70 cm wide with a 160 cm turning circle it handles well in tight spaces.
Look at another model if you need the public road or the pavement — only a single-seat machine qualifies here. See the On Four, the City Cruiser or the Forto, all supplied at 8 mph. Watch the total weight: 200 kg for everyone aboard.
Riding this in the UK
UK law defines a mobility scooter — an invalid carriage — as a vehicle constructed or adapted to carry one person. The Compa carries a passenger and a child, so it can never be a Class 2 or Class 3 machine here, however slowly it is set. In Britain it is for private land only, with the owner's permission, and not the public highway or the footway. A supermarket or retail-park car park counts as a public place. Our rules page sets out the classes.
Options
The configurator above lists every option for the Compa and what each one adds. Colour: red, or any colour you name. Speed: the 15.5 or 20 mph build, both for private land only in Britain, as explained above. Battery: the standard lithium pack, or a second battery that doubles the range; the battery is removable and a motor brake is listed. Weather and comfort: a tall clear windscreen, a leg cover, a handlebar muff set, heated gloves in sizes XS to XXL, and a cover in medium or large. Practical: a top box, a cane holder left, right or both sides, a USB connection and a universal phone holder. Security: an alarm with remote control, a GPS tracker or a tracking beacon (the tracking subscription is quoted separately). For adaptations to a disability beyond the cane holder, tell us when you request the quote. Maintenance packages and multi-year service contracts are listed too; for a United Kingdom address, ask us in the quote what servicing we can offer before you choose one.
