Figures as For Motion states them; range depends on the battery pack, the weight carried and how you ride. UK road eligibility depends on the model and its approved configuration. A speed limit of 8 mph alone does not make a vehicle eligible. Confirm the intended use in your quote and see the rules page.

Citycruiser duo blueSpecifications

Who it suits (and who it doesn't)
A good fit if you have private ground to ride on, want to go out with a partner or companion without buying two machines, and need to stay narrow. The stretched wheelbase gives plenty of legroom and keeps it settled two-up.
Look at another model if you need the public road or the pavement: only a single-seat machine can be registered here. The City Cruiser is the shorter, cheaper single-seat version and we supply it at 8 mph. Watch the 150 kg payload for both people together.
Riding this in the UK
Two things rule this model out of the UK mobility-scooter classes. The law defines an invalid carriage as a vehicle constructed or adapted to carry one person, and the Duo seats two; and Class 3 caps unladen weight at 150 kg, while the Duo is about 160 kg fully equipped. So in Britain it is for private land only, with the owner's permission — not the public highway, not the footway, and not a car park, which counts as a public place. Our rules page sets out the classes.
Options
The configurator above lists every option for the City Cruiser Duo and what each one adds. Speed: the 15.5 or 20 mph build, both for private land only in Britain, as explained above. Battery: the standard removable lithium pack, or two lithium batteries fixed in the frame for double the range, with the standard charger or an 8–10 A fast charger for more than one battery; a motor brake is listed as well. Weather and comfort: a canopy, a tall clear windscreen, a leg cover, a hand muff set, heated gloves in sizes XS to XXL, and a cover in medium or large. Practical: a top box, a cane holder left, right or both sides, a USB socket and a universal phone holder. Security: an alarm with remote control, a GPS tracker or a tracking beacon (the tracking subscription is quoted separately). For adaptations to a disability beyond the cane holder, tell us when you request the quote. Maintenance packages and multi-year service contracts are listed too; for a United Kingdom address, ask us in the quote what servicing we can offer before you choose one.
