Figures as For Motion states them; range depends on the battery pack, the weight carried and how you ride. UK road eligibility depends on the model and its approved configuration. A speed limit of 8 mph alone does not make a vehicle eligible. Confirm the intended use in your quote and see the rules page.

Only what differs is in the table; what is the same on every model sits underneath. Where another model wins a row, that is shown too.

Who it suits (and who it doesn't)

A good fit if back pain, stiff hips or weak hands shape your day: the swivel seat, the flipper throttle and the wide floor are made for exactly that. The low centre of gravity keeps it settled in wind and on cobbles.

Look at another model if your hallway or lift is narrower than 80 cm — then see the On Four at 68 cm. If you need to carry a passenger, no UK mobility scooter can do it.

Riding this in the UK

We supply the Forto here limited to 8 mph, which makes it a Class 3 invalid carriage — the road-going class of mobility scooter. You register it with DVLA (no vehicle tax is payable), the rider must be 14 or over, and on a footway you drop to 4 mph with the limiter and speed indicator working. Motorways are never allowed. It has one seat and is 80 cm wide, inside the 0.85 m limit; because Class 3 also caps unladen weight at 150 kg, your quote states the weight for the battery you choose. A faster build exists but is for private land only here.

Options

The configurator above lists every option for the Forto and what each one adds. Colour: red or black. Battery: one, two or three lithium batteries, for about 31, 62 or 93 miles. Seating: the standard swivel seat, or the swivel seat with the comfort seat, and seat heating. Practical: a rollator holder left, right or both sides, a stick holder that takes any rollator, a leg cover, a hand muff set, heated gloves in sizes XS to XXL, a cover in medium or large, a USB connection and a universal phone holder. Security: an alarm with remote control and a GPS tracker (the tracking subscription is quoted separately). The speed group lists the 15.5 mph build, which is for private land only in Britain; the 8 mph limitation for road use is set out in your written quote rather than chosen here. For adaptations to a disability beyond the flipper throttle already fitted, tell us when you request the quote. Maintenance packages and multi-year service contracts are listed too; for a United Kingdom address, ask us in the quote what servicing we can offer before you choose one.

Price, delivery and your rights

Your written quote states the full price delivered to your address. VAT relief needs a chronically sick or disabled customer, a qualifying product and a signed eligibility declaration — Class 3 does not qualify automatically. You have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, plus your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Request a quote or read the rules.
