Servicing

So you ride, instead of waiting.

Servicing on schedule, and at least once a year, means the brakes, tyres, battery, lights and electrics are checked before anything strands you. We service our models in our own workshop in Heerde — with original parts, by the people who assembled the machine.

Why service it on schedule

Safety first

Brake pads, tyre pressure and lighting are the parts that fade without anyone noticing. On a class 3 machine you are out among traffic, so it counts double.

The battery lasts longer

We measure the capacity and the charging behaviour and tell you honestly how much range is left, before you find out on the road.

Original parts from one source

We design and import our models ourselves. The part that goes in belongs to your machine.

What gets checked

One service, twelve points.

Brakes and brake pads, tyres and tyre pressure, steering and play, suspension, battery and charger, charging socket, loom and connectors, front and rear lighting, indicators and horn, seat and its adjustment, frame and fasteners, display and fault memory.
Afterwards you get a list: what is sound, what we replaced and what is coming up. Nothing is replaced without asking you first.
Wearing parts such as tyres, brake pads and bulbs are not a quality fault unless there is a manufacturing defect. We tell you what a part costs beforehand.
On a class 3 machine the service also checks the two things the regulations single out: that the 4 mph limiter works, and that the speed indicator showing whether it is operating works. The machine must not be used at all if that indicator has failed.
How it goes
You ask about a service — the model and the frame number are enough.
We come back within 1 working day and agree a slot.
We agree the route: the workshop in Heerde, or another arrangement.
We check every point and ring you before we replace anything.
You get a list of what was done and what is coming up.
Return or redelivery as agreed.

What applies in the United Kingdom

We have no UK service partners. We say so before you buy.

The workshop is in Heerde

Our workshop is at Molenweg 12, 8181 BJ Heerde, the Netherlands.

A lot is settled on the phone

A photo of the display or the battery on WhatsApp often saves the whole appointment.

Otherwise, by arrangement

If the trip to Heerde is not on, we discuss another solution. We do not promise a mobile engineer for the United Kingdom.

Something already sticking?

Then it is not a service but a repair. The repairs page sets out how that works.
